Notorious for Attention

It has been a crazy week for the UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor. Last week, the Irishman shockingly announced his retirement via Twitter, saying "I have decided to retire young." The entire world was stunned by his announcement. A few days later, McGregor tweeted, "Happy to announce that I am back on UFC 200!" This episode McGregor put on left fans very confused. Fans suspect McGregor did this for attention and publicity. Another reason is that McGregor was actually thinking about retiring, then changed his mind. But the thing the world wants to to is why. Why is Conor McGregor considering retirement?

Conor McGregor is just a few years in the UFC. He is the UFC Featherweight Champion. He won the title in record time at UFC 194. He is on a roll. But one loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196 has really changed McGregor, and fans have noticed this. His behavior has changed. He hasn't been the same since his defeat against Diaz. And this scene McGregor made on Twitter was just to attract attention. Many have called him a wimp and a jerk, but McGregor doesn't care what people think of him. He doesn't need to worry about anything because he has a loud mouth and a pocket full of cash; thats all he needs. He is so obsessed with beating Nate Diaz that he has requested a non-title rematch, which will take place at UFC 200. This will be another great welterweight bout that I'm looking forward to.
